Australia Approves Second HPV Vaccine |

The country's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has licensed the Cervarix vaccine for the prevention of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions.
The primary difference of Cervarix, the vaccine is designed to enhance the immune response and increase the duration of protection.
GSK Australia officials mention that it has applied to have Cervarix included in the National Immunization Program and it would soon be available in Australia.
