Indonesia has recently offered to work with Japan in developing a human bird flu vaccine for the benefit of both countries.
According to WHO, Indonesia is the nation worst hit by the H5N1 virus and has reported 104 confirmed bird flu cases, with 83 deaths.
The Japanese government has recently pledged to provide about $14.8 million in aid to help fight avian influenza.
